The Chianti is one of the world's classic wine regions resting between Florence and Siena, rich in its abundance of vineyards, olive groves, cypress-lined hilltops, terraced slopes, and forested valleys - it's the perfect example of a Tuscan landscape.This alluring countryside invites you to follow its roads to see where they go: perhaps to a farmhouse where you can sample and buy splendid olive oil or Chianti Classico wine… or perhaps it leads to a medieval church or even a castle that will make you feel you've stepped into a page of a fairy tale book! By far the best way to discover Chianti is by car as its beauty often reveals itself along the roads less traveled. And many such roads unveiled hidden treasures along the way that would thrill us to share with you. As we drive on rustic country roads that wind around cypress trees and rolling hills, we can see planted vineyards, fields, and orchards that transform the landscape into a collage of colors and textures that have inspired artists and travelers for ages.
Our tours combine exploring this stunning countryside with historical, cultural, oenological and gastronomical points of interest. An example of our itinerary that exceeded all our clients' expectations is:
Departing Time from your accomodation at 8:00 AM. Visit the beautiful Orvieto and his Duomo with a wine tasting in Cantina Foresi, go for lunch in Montepulciano where there will be anothe wine tasting of the famous Cantina Pulcino, Visit the Franciscan Monastry and make Lunch.
Next stop in Chianti area at Poggio del Chianti Cantina
with all the D.O.C.G. wine and olive oil tasting. On the way back to Rome, along the road be ready for the beautiful Castles of Chianti.
