Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Never in our wildest dreams could any of us ever have imagined or anticipated just how magical those 9 days in Italy with our “FAMILY, YOU and FLAVIO would be. All the hard work, the months of planning, the many phone calls and the hours spent cannot begin to tell the whole story, In my more that 35 years of traveling I can honestly say without a doubt that you are truly a REMARKABE and DECENT HUMAN BEING. You and Flavio welcomed us on our arrival in Rome and immediately we became a FAMILY. Twenty three of us all different ages, 16 to 87, and you managed with great skill and humor to keep everyone of us happy. You always listened to what was being said, you never once told us “NO WE CANN’T DO THAT, WE DON’T HAVE TIME. Somehow you managed to work things out and “YES” you even came up with a few ‘SURPRISES”. How wonderful our “NIGHT AT THE OPERA”. Sitting out on the patio of our VIILLA sipping wine and listening to those beautiful Italian songs until almost mid-night. The day we spent on PONZA. Yes, getting up at 4:30AM was worth it. Everyone going in different directions. Who wanted to rent motor scooters, who wanted a tour of the Island by taxi and the rest of us out on the water for the day. Who could forget Auntie Anna going swimming off the side of the boat or you with the kids jumping off the rocks into the sea. We did it all. Our Villa in San Donato was absolutely beautiful. Our hosts during our stay, Salome, Bellagio and all the staff couldn’t have made us feel any more at home. The town was something right out of a book. It’s location up in the hills on the edge of the National Park was magnificent. The towns people welcomed us no matter were we went. But most of all what you did in helping to arrange the visit with our family. The two days we spent with them was nothing short than amazing. That in it’s self was no small feat and you managed it all. The look on the faces of my aunts when they got off the bus and met the cousins for the very first time and went into the home that their mother lived in was something none of us will ever forget. The Mass on Sunday with the Family and the luncheon after was nothing short of a banquet. All the while you and Flavio were right there with us helping with the translating, pouring the wine doing what families always do no questions asked, and for that we are most grateful. You and Flavio are truly part of OUR FAMILY now. Marco, keep us posted on your plans for November. Until then, stay in touch, stay well my friend. Mary
