Angels and Demons is a thriller of Dan Brown, published in Italy in November 2004,
In fact, it is earlier than the famous Da Vinci Code by the same author, but in Italy was published after, on the extraordinary success of the previous year.
The Da Vinci Code, in fact, you can read references to a "mortal danger going to the Vatican a year before" from Robert Langdon. The structure of this book in fact, appears quite similar to that of The Da Vinci Code.
The book is also dealt with the burning issue of antagonism between science and faith. Like its predecessor-successor, Angels and Demons has long been at the top of the charts best-seller, exceeded only then from the book of Giovanni Paolo II.
